Larry and Susie have been married for 29 years, and have two adult children. They moved to Texas in 2009 and started Susie's Diner. That ran for a year and half and they sold it. They then moved to Garland in 2011 and have been here ever since. Perry, their beloved employee and as Susie loving calls him, “my 3rd child” has been working there since 2014.

Something that is unique about Main Street Deli is how fresh the ingredients are. Larry gets to the Deli at 5 am and starts slicing all the ingredients. None of their ingredients come in a pack or pre-sliced, he does it all himself. Larry’s favorite thing about his job is creating. He loves creating new sandwiches and testing new things. They have recently also brought back Susie's Soups which are absolutely delicious!
